Re-purposing flowers
After a wedding or event, flowers are often just thrown out. After all the love, thought, time, care and money put into arrangements, it’s a bit of a shame to do this!
Luckily there are some wonderful things you can do to make the most of your flowers and ensure nothing is wasted.
Set up a ‘wrapping station’ at your wedding/event so guests can take flowers home with them
Hang up flowers to dry, so you can enjoy them for years to come
Make them into small posies to deliver to a nursing home, hospital, homeless shelter, or anywhere where some extra joy is needed
Take the opportunity to do some random acts of kindness and hand out flowers to people on the street
Leave little ‘lonely bouquets’ with notes of kindness at bus stops, park benches, and anywhere fun you could surprise someone!
