Business with a mission

I’m passionate about building stronger communities where everyone finds belonging, and empowering people out of physical poverty. Before this floristry journey, I studied two degrees and spent time overseas with the view to get into aid and development work.

So, it only seems natural to connect my creative endeavours with my heart to create change in the world.

I’m thrilled to be able to partner with some amazing organisations creating real change in the world. However little it might be to begin with, I have committed to donating 5% of profits to support worthy causes both locally and globally.

Current Project

Daughters of Destiny is an initiative of JENGA Community Development Outreach, based in Mbale, Uganda. I was privileged to spend 6 months with this amazing organisation in 2012/13, and took part in the establishment of this particular project for young, single mothers.

Daughters of Destiny provides a space for young, previously unsupported single mothers to gather, build friendships, be mentored and complete a one-year vocational training school, graduating with the skills to start their own business or find gainful employment.
